Skiing is more than just a sport!

More than 100 employees and teachers of Kozybayev University have chosen an active winter vacation this weekend. They gathered at a suburban sports base to take part in a massive ski race. The event was held under the slogan "Ystyk kayrat" within the framework of the concept of promoting the creativity of Abay Kunanbayev "Tolyk Adam".

Representatives of the Board, all faculties and main departments of the university ran a distance of 3,000 m. Sports fans were not hindered by either wind or snow. Hot tea and pastries were waiting for those who wanted to warm up. Fresh air, friendly company and sports excitement are the main components of these competitions. As a result, everyone was able to cover the distance from start to finish. The participants did not hide their joyful emotions in the final of the race.

Having confirmed his sporting achievements, Alexander Naumov became the absolute champion among men! Dmitry Kuzmenko took the second place, and Sergey Semenenko took the third. Yulia Kuzmenko won among women in the age category under 40, and Inna Dzhemaletdinova won in the category 40 years and older. Congratulations!
