Our students took part in a national hackathon

More than 2,500 people in 19 regions of the country simultaneously took part in the largest multi-location hackathon "Decentrathon 2.0.". The event is held by Astana Hub International Technopark with the support of the Ministry of Digitalisation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and IT companies of Kazakhstan. The prize fund is 50 thousand dollars.

In North Kazakhstan region Kozybayev University was the location for the event. About 80 participants, united in teams of 2-4 people, came to us. These are schoolchildren, college students, as well as current programmers. From our university 13 teams of students studying in the field of engineering and information systems were announced.

The hackathon programme is structured in three tracks, each of which has specific tasks: GameDev game development, as well as Telegram applications, artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies.During two days, IT cases will be developed. The participants will be assisted by mentors from partner companies. Then the jury will review each project and select the winner. We wish success to the participants! Cheer for our students!
