As the biggest library if it is in disorder is not as useful as a small but well-arranged one, so you may accumulate a vast amount of knowledge but it will be of far less value to you than a much smaller amount if you have not thought it over for yourself.
Dual Degree Program Students Learn More About American Corner and Makerspace Projects
American Corners are information and resource centers established with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan. They host lectures on American culture, history, and society, as well as English language courses, discussion clubs, and other events.
In our city, the American Corner operates at the S. Mukanov Regional Library. Today, its specialists met with students of dual degree programs.
In their fourth year, these students will travel to Tucson, USA, to study at the University of Arizona’s main campus. Therefore, information about Makerspace programs is highly relevant.
Representatives from the American Corner introduced students to a free English language course, the STEM for THEM scientific project, and other programs, in which our students can also participate.
