Focus on the University's Digital Modernization

The digital transformation of higher education in Kazakhstan is gaining momentum. A new milestone was reached with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan (MSHE) and Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan. The agreement was formalized during a working visit of the Kazakhstani delegation to China, led by MSHE Minister Sayasat Nurbek.

As part of the delegation, Kozybayev University’s Chairman of the Board and Rector, Yerbol Isakayev, visited Huawei’s exhibition halls in Shenzhen. During a meeting with Max Zhao, Vice President of Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan, discussions centered on digital solutions for university transformation.

Visiting one of the global leaders in information and communication technology served as a strong motivation for continuing research in artificial intelligence and predictive mathematical modeling at M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University. Moving forward, the university will actively pursue collaboration opportunities with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.
