Meeting with the Economic Investigation Department of North Kazakhstan Region

Representatives of the Economic Investigation Department (EID) of North Kazakhstan Region visited the university to meet with students. During the discussion, they spoke about the department’s areas of work, its divisions, and key development priorities. Experts noted a growing trend in public involvement in financial crimes, with young people frequently falling victim to financial pyramids and online fraud schemes.

EID officers continuously uncover new forms of economic crimes. Students were particularly interested to learn about the formation of a pool of young specialists in financial monitoring, which graduates of our university may also join.

"We appreciate every opportunity to meet with young people—you are the future of our country. It’s no secret that working in law enforcement is challenging and comes with certain restrictions. But believe me, for those who are passionate about their work, difficulties are not an obstacle. Choosing the right profession means choosing the right place in life. And I am sure that you are on the right path," said Bakhytzhan Abulkhairov, Head of the EID for North Kazakhstan Region.
