On the Competition for the Scholarship from the Corporate Fund "Freedom Shapagat"

As part of its social support program for students, the Corporate Fund "Freedom Shapagat" is awarding five (5) scholarships of 52,083.33 KZT per month on a competitive basis for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Candidates for the scholarship are nominated by faculty councils, proposed by deans, or through self-nomination. 

The following categories of students may participate in the competition:

l  2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th-year full-time undergraduate students, preferably from finance and economics, mathematics, information technology, and linguistics programs;

l  Students with academic performance equivalent to "Good" and "Excellent" grades, with a minimum GPA of 3.4;

l  Students engaged in scientific and practical research in the fields of finance, mathematics, information technology, or linguistics.

The following documented achievements will be considered in awarding the scholarship:

1. Victories in national and international Olympiads;
2. Publications in collections of scientific works, national and international scientific journals;
3. Results of scientific research, confirmed by diplomas, certificates, awards, or letters of recognition.

Selection Process:

1. The applicant submits a complete document package to the Deputy Dean for Academic and Educational Work.The Deputy Dean verifies the documents for compliance with the eligibility criteria and forwards them to the Bursar's Office for review by the Scholarship Committee.

2. The Scholarship Committee evaluates the submitted documents for scholarship allocation.

3. The scholarship is awarded by order of the Chairman of the Board – Rector of M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University, based on the Committee’s decision.

Documents must be submitted by December 11, 2024, at 6:00 PM.

Required Documents:

1. Application addressed to the Chairman of the Board – Rector of M. 2. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University for participation in the scholarship competition;

2. Copy of the student’s identity document;

3. Transcript for the entire period of study;

4. Copies of documents confirming achievements (certificates, diplomas, letters of appreciation, etc.).
