Exploring Water Resource Issues with Professor Wang Yubao

Professor Wang Yubao from Northwest A&F University (China), along with his master's student Li Haoxin, has arrived at Kozybayev University under the Kazakh Ministry of Science and Higher Education’s program. This week, the PhD professor conducted a seminar for students of the Agrotechnological Faculty.

Wang Yubao is a faculty member at the Department of Agricultural Soil Science and Water Management within the College of Water Resources and Architectural Engineering at Northwest A&F University.

His research focuses on agriculture, water resources, and water-saving engineering—topics highly relevant to our region. As a result, a number of joint scientific studies are being prepared in collaboration with North Kazakhstan researchers.

In addition, Professor Wang Yubao has planned a series of scientific and educational events for faculty and students of Kozybayev University. It is worth noting that Northwest A&F University has been a strategic partner of Kozybayev University for over seven years. One key area of cooperation is the annual academic mobility program, which enables students, master’s students, PhD candidates, and faculty members to participate in exchange programs.
