Artificial Intelligence and GeoSTEAM: New Approaches in Education

Teachers of schools in the North Kazakhstan Region, heads of educational institutions, as well as university and college lecturers gathered at the university for the international scientific and methodological seminar “Digital Transformation in Teaching Natural Science Disciplines.”

The participants discussed current trends in education, technologies for teaching natural sciences, as well as the prospects and opportunities for using digital and GIS technologies in educational practice.

“Today, within the framework of the seminar, we came to exchange experience with fellow teachers. The topic of my presentation is ‘GeoSTEAM: Science Learned Through Practice.’ At present, it is important to introduce and use artificial intelligence in the educational process. Therefore, in the context of digital transformation, school and university students should acquire knowledge that meets the demands of the time,” shared Zhibek Zhamuldinova, a geography teacher at Z. Tashenov Secondary School No. 20.

Following the results of the seminar, participants will be awarded certificates.
