Badminton tournament

On December 16, the sports club "Sunkar" organized badminton competitions dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Students of Petropavlovsk took an active part in them,in addition to students and undergraduates of the University. Pupils of 4-8 classes demonstrated skillful possession of a shuttlecock and a racket.

Players in their age categories competed. Tournaments were held among both boys and girls. Involved in them were representatives of all faculties, including high school of medicine, ILaL and the Foundation. As it turned out, this sport is popular among foreign students who came to our University from India and China. In total, more than 40 athletes competed in the matches.

It should be noted that since this academic year, the University has a sports section on badminton, where all interested students can enroll through the University's website.
