Kozybayev University dormitory monitoring
In order to improve living conditions and improve the quality of students' living, representatives of the regional anti-corruption service together with MK "Jas Otan" annually conduct monitoring of dormitories of educational institutions in the North Kazakhstan region and the city of Petropavlovsk. Together with university staff, they visited 2 such facilities at Kozybayev University. Today 180 people live here. These are mainly nonresident or children who do not have the technical capability for distance education at home in the villages.
During the raid, the inspectors got acquainted with the state of hostels, compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards, fire safety, anti-epidemiological requirements, and the availability of infrastructure. The psychological climate and corruption risks were also assessed. On each floor, the activists examined the rooms, the state of kitchens, showers and toilets, talked with the guys. They said that today, admission to accommodation is carried out electronically through the official website of the university, which eliminates bureaucratic delays and corruption.
During the check by the members of the commission, no violations were revealed, no complaints from students were received.
