Results of the Pentathlon Universiade

The 10th Republican Universiade in pentathlon has concluded. We are grateful to all guests and athletes who participated! These were three intense days where students showcased their best athletic qualities.

The first event was shooting from a pneumatic rifle—10 shots from 10 meters while standing without support. On the second day, athletes competed in strength gymnastics: pull-ups for men and push-ups for women. The most spectacular event, ski races of 3 and 5 km, took place on the final day.

In the women’s individual competition, the highest scores were achieved by:
1st place – Evgenia Loseeva (Kozybayev University)
2nd place – Dariga Dyusenova (Akhmet Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University)
3rd place – Snezhana Kolesnikova (Satbayev University)

In the men’s individual competition, Kozybayev University students claimed the entire podium: Nikita Izotov, Danila Svirzhevsky, Arkady Esman!

In the team competition, Kozybayev University emerged as the overall winner, led to victory by renowned coach and senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, A.V. Naumov. The silver medal went to Akhmet Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University, and the bronze to Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.
