Kozybayev University at the International University Exhibition in Tashkent

A prestigious international university exhibition, organised by Begin Edu Fair Group, took place in the capital of Uzbekistan. Among the participants were leading universities from Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. Kazakhstan was represented by Kozybayev University, KIMEP, and KBTU.

The event attracted around 700 prospective students, many accompanied by their parents. Our dual degree programmes with the University of Arizona generated strong interest: dozens of attendees submitted applications and expressed a keen desire to pursue higher education in both Kazakhstan and the United States. Prospective students asked about tuition fees, scholarship opportunities, financial aid, and student accommodation conditions.

Ethnic Kazakhs showed particular interest in admission requirements and academic prospects. It is worth noting that Kozybayev University offers a Foundation programme, where kandas (ethnic Kazakhs returning from abroad) can take preparatory courses, attend language classes, prepare for the Unified National Test (UNT), and adapt to university life.
