Kozybayev University took part in the Kazakhstan Education Days exhibition in Mongolia. The event, organised by the Otandastar Foundation, was held in the city of Olgiy and brought together over 20 higher education institutions from Kazakhstan. For compatriots living abroad, the exhibition served as an excellent opportunity to learn more about universities and academic programmes in Kazakhstan. Visitors also received information and consulting support regarding the admission process.
Over the course of two days, representatives of Kozybayev University met with around 300 local high school graduates and their parents. They were introduced to the university’s academic offerings. Prospective students expressed particular interest in bachelor's, master's, and dual-degree programmes with the University of Arizona, as well as scholarship opportunities. In total, there are 12 Kazakh-language schools in the Bayan-Olgiy district, and this year alone, 1,762 students are graduating. During the exhibition, around 70 applicants showed serious interest in studying at Kozybayev University.
It is worth noting that Kozybayev University provides a supportive environment for kandas (ethnic Kazakhs from abroad). University staff assist international students with cultural and psychological adaptation. All students from other countries are fully provided with accommodation. This year, two modern student dormitories were opened, offering a total of 1,356 places. One of them is already home to students from Mongolia. The residences are fully furnished, equipped with modern appliances, and include leisure areas and dining facilities — creating a truly comfortable and welcoming environment where students can feel at home.
