Congratulations to Bogdan Kormin!

Congratulations to Bogdan Kormin, a student at Kozybayev University, who has been awarded a scholarship from the Shakhmardan Yessenov Foundation! The competition for 20 monthly student scholarships of 70,000 tenge each began in early February, and now the results are in.

It should be noted that participants in the programme are students who are citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan over the age of 18, studying at Kazakhstani universities in their 2nd or 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree (2nd to 5th year for medical universities), in natural sciences, technical, medical, or IT specialities. Winners must have a high GPA and write an essay on the topic: “Is it easy to become a professional in the modern world? What hinders and what contributes to this?” They must also be actively involved in scientific, social, or volunteer activities.

Bogdan is a third-year student at the Faculty of Engineering and Digital Technologies, studying Robotics, Intelligent Systems, and Instrument Engineering. He is seriously involved in science, holds two co-authored patents, and has several scientific publications. He took part in such a competition for the first time — and became a winner! The student believes that this scholarship is a great opportunity to prove himself — one that motivates him to study well and achieve new successes.
