The Department of Economic Investigations of North Kazakhstan Region jointly with Kozybayev University organized a forum for students on financial security issues.The students were told about ways to prevent fraudulent activities and protect against cybercrimes, the number of which has increased significantly in recent years. How not to become a dropper and a participant in a financial pyramid are issues that have been given special attention.
Deputy Akim of North Kazakhstan Region Zhusup Zhumagulov emphasized that there is an increase in the number of crimes committed with the help of digital technologies, and criminals are increasingly using gullibility, lack of knowledge and the desire for easy profit of Internet users. Therefore, improving the financial literacy of young people and warning against criminal fraud schemes are important tasks that remain relevant. At the end, testing was conducted, which allows the students to receive a certificate of successful completion of the financial security program.
