Our Students Among the Best Wrestlers in the Country!

In early December, Astana hosted the Republican Kazakh Wrestling Tournament "Zhas Barys" for young athletes from across the country. The event brought together around 500 wrestlers from sports clubs in every region of Kazakhstan.

Among those representing the North Kazakhstan Region were students from the Department of Physical Education and Sports at Kozybayev University. They showcased outstanding wrestling skills and fought their way to the podium!

Champions:

Dmitry Diner – Gold medalist in the 78 kg weight category!

Doszhan Sapargali – Gold medalist in the 55 kg weight category!

Adilet Murzash – Bronze medalist in the +100 kg weight category!
