X Republican Universiade in All-Around Sports at Kozybayev University

For the second time in the alma mater’s history, the Republican Universiade in Winter Presidential All-Around Sports is being held at our university. The grand opening took place today. We are especially pleased to welcome all guests from Almaty, Kostanay, and Ust-Kamenogorsk!

Notably, this sport is one of the favorites among Kozybayev University students. The sports school of 54-time champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan, renowned coach Alexander Naumov, consistently produces outstanding results: our students are part of the North Kazakhstan regional team and have repeatedly won championships and prizes at national and world competitions.

A total of five teams are participating in the 10th Republican Universiade:

1. Satbayev Kazakh National Technical University
2. S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University
3. A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University
4. Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University
5. Kozybayev University

Over the next three days, they will compete in a triathlon: air rifle shooting, cross-country skiing, and strength gymnastics. We wish all participants success! May the strongest win!
