Meeting with the ambassador of Canada

At university the meeting of students took place with the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Canada in the Republic of Kazakhstan Stephen Millar.

Dear visitor gave youth summary of Canada and lecture about multicultural experience. "Between Canada and Kazakhstan there are a lot of similarities. We conduct policy of a multilingualism and multiculturalism too. It is a highly effective method in development society" noted Stephen Millar. After lectures students asked questions about Canada, bilingualism in this country, office-work, student's programs.

The meeting was visited also by deputy Akim of the North Kazakhstan oblast Kayrat Bekenov, having noted that, it is necessary to follow an example from foreign countries and become competitive. Also, he offered an explanation for topical issue of today, monetary inflation.

At the end of the meeting the university administration thanked the dear guest for his lecture.
