Pancake week at ILL
Pancake week – a holiday of a farewell to winter and a meeting of the spring, one of the most joyful and light. The history originates of it in an antiquity to pagan culture. The whole week people baked pancakes and visited to each other.
Cheerfully it was celebrated at Institute of language and literature, where annually this celebration passes noisy and fascinating. Students sewed bright suits, thought up the scenario, treated with pancakes the gathered. And still sang, danced and drove round dances, thereby, seeing off wide Pancake week.
