Intellectual country-specific quiz
On November 27 at 15.50 (in 219/5) teachers of "Foreign languages" department Kh.R. Aitova and O.G. Shtro organized an event "Historical events, facts, outstanding people of English-speaking countries".
Students of nonlinguistic faculties took part in the quiz.
The aim: 1. Stimulation of students' interest to study English;
2. Developing general and country-specific cycle;
3. To foster a sense of national tolerance and internationalism;
4. Development of social competence;
During the event, students demonstrated proficiency in linguistic-cultural information, interest in the issue of cultural character, a good knowledge of English.
