Student dormitories in M. Kozybayev NKSU – 3, with a total number of places-1114

Places in the dormitories are provided for all nonresident students in need of housing. Check-in is made at the beginning of the academic year upon arrival of students.

The Commission on settling in dormitories is created. In order to ensure transparency in the process of settlement, an active member of the student government takes part. Students are interviewed on arrival to explain the rules of living in the dormitory.

Upon check-in, students go through a medical examination and SES Commission.

Students live in rooms of 3 or 4 people. Services of service are provided: change of bed linen, use of electric stoves in kitchens, showers, laundry rooms.

The cost of living in the dormitories is as follows:

Students on the state educational order payment is 4200 tenge per month.

Students on a paid basis are paid 10 000 tenge per month.

Foreign students accommodation in the dormitories payment is 10 000 tenge per month.

All data on students ' accommodation in dormitories are entered into an electronic database.

The dormitories have favorable conditions for extracurricular activities.

Computers are installed in the reading rooms of dormitories No. 2, 3.

The university’s health center provides free medical care to students and staff with specialist doctors (therapist, gynecologist, ENT specialist, ophthalmologist, ultrasound diagnostics doctor, functional diagnostics doctor). There is a treatment room and a physical room.

In dormitories, work is being carried out to organize educational activities and provide social and cultural conditions for students.

In the framework of measures to adapt first-year students to the conditions of study and residence in dormitories, the following activities are carried out:

  1. Constant monitoring is carried out on the social and living conditions of students in dormitories.
  2. Organized on-duty teaching staff and students in student dormitories.
  3. In order to ensure public safety, dormitories have external and internal video cameras. On campus, duty inspectors are on duty in conjunction with the Far East Internal Affairs Directorate and representatives of the Bolashak branch of the Nur Otan association. The police stronghold is located in Dorm. No. 1.
  4. The advisers of study groups regularly visit their students in order to identify and solve problematic issues in the educational process and extracurricular activities.
  5. In order to increase students' legal literacy, explanatory conversations of local police officers are held throughout the year to clarify administrative and criminal legislation.
  6. Together with the student administration, student activists of the dormitories, the youth affairs committee, leisure activities are held in dormitories on holiday dates and important social and political events. On weekends, cultural and recreational and sports events are organized (youth actions “We are against corruption, contests of the patriotic song, essays, drafts, chess, togiz-kumalak tournament, concert programs and holidays, thematic discos, a competition of copyright songs, activities to promote healthy lifestyle, etc.)
