The graduate of given modular educational program is assigned an academic degree of “Bachelor of Science” in specialty 5B060200 “Computer Science”.
Bachelors of natural sciences have the following key competencies in the field of:
1) native language (Kazakh or Russian)
- to be able to express and understand notions, thoughts, feelings, facts and opinions in the field of informatics in both written and oral ways (listening, speaking, reading and writing), and communicate linguistically in an appropriate way and artistically in all variety of social and cultural contexts: while studying, at work, at home and at leisure.
2) foreign languages
- to have basic skills of communication in English language: to be able to understand, express and explain notions, thoughts, feelings, facts and opinions in both oral and written ways (listening, speaking, reading, writing) in an appropriate range of social and cultural contexts (in education and studying, at work, at home and at leisure). To have skills of mediation and intercultural understanding.
3) natural scientific knowledge
- to be able and be ready to use educational potential, experience and personal qualities, gained during learning natural scientific disciplines at school, to determine methods of solving professional tasks and the development of natural scientific thinking, to control and estimate it.
4) computer education
- to be able to use modern information technologies for working, for leisure and communication confidently and critically, to have skills of using a computer for recuperation, presentation and information exchange, for talking and participating in cooperating companies with the help of Internet in the field of professional activities.
5) basic educational knowledge
- to have basic knowledge in the field of mathematical and technical disciplines (sciences), which contribute a formation of high-educated broad-minded individuality with a culture of thinking; to realize a need in constant learning, to be able to find accessible opportunities; to aim and keep studying insistently.
6) social-ethic competencies
- to know about social-ethic values, based on social opinion, traditions, social standards and to be able to navigate in their professional activity;
- to be able to follow rules of business ethics, to know about ethic and legal rules of behavior;
- to know traditions and culture of people of Kazakhstan;

“Bachelor of natural science” in specialty 5B060200 “Computer Science” has the following special competencies:
- to be able to use modern mathematic methods, methods of applied mathematics and informatics to solve problems of science, education, technique, economic and management;
- to be able to choose and transform mathematic models of phenomena, processes and systems with a purpose of their effective software and hardware realization and their research with the help of computer technologies;
- to be able to develop and improve formal models and methods used during a creation of objects of professional activity;
- to have skills of working with software and hardware complexes.
